WELCOME!! to all friends of S.A.P.S.E.M.A., one of the web's few sites dedicated to the advancement of special makeup effects and the artists who work so hard to keep the art alive and well.

For us special makeup effects artists who have had trouble getting information or help for anything we do connected to this, I know how frustrating it can be. That is why S.A.P.S.E.M.A. exists. TO HELP ALL STRUGGLING MAKEUP ARTISTS. How can we help you? Do you need some advice, some ideas, tips, tricks of the trade, formulas, techniques, brainstorming, or anything of general interest with special makeup effects? Please E-Mail me or become an active friend of the S.A.P.S.E.M.A. site follwers and participants if you'd like. I want this to be a FORUM for help to all artists - amateur or professional who need fresh ideas or an impartial third party viewpoint on a project. I hope to hear from many more of you.

Those of you who joined and were part of S.A.P.S.E.M.A., I have already E-Mailed you and have posted a new approach in the Announcements page. Basically I decided that it was time to do away with the "membership" thing and just welcome everyone and anyone. Trying to keep up with everyone when E-Mails change and other things - especially when few kept up with me on those issues, prompted me to just make it an open web-site that anyone and everyone could be part of. I still appreciate all of you as part of this group. Still, if anyone is interested in submitting anything, pictures, articles, tips, techniques, formulas, successes, failures, - you are more than welcome to E-Mail those items to me. I will review them and perhaps include them as part of the website with credit to you and hopefully exposure as a makeup artist to other makeup artists. Just let me know and I will accept anything based upon the guidelines in the WHAT IS SAPSEMA section. Though I know now that many people have their OWN web sites and don't need mine for this purpose. But it was different when I started this nearly 7 years ago. If you want to you can still submit if you'd like.

I encourage you to E-Mail me if you have questions or problems on makeup projects or just in your general practice as you work on things. As I have said, I don't have all the answers but I have a lot of them or can find answers for you. That is part of what this site was created for - as a resource for help of all kinds or inspiration from anyone who wants to help. Please get involved.
