This is a slush latex cast piece from an original mold that was the prosthetic that Lon Chaney Jr. used for the Wolfman character in yet another ABBOTT & COSTELLO film. The film was ABBOTT & COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN and was one of the few Frankenstein films starring Glenn Strange as the monster. But this film also included the Wolfman character as well starring Lon Chaney reprising his famous role as the werewolf. This piece covers the brow area and extends down over the nose and uppper lip as well as filling out the nasolabial folds at the sides of the nose onto the cheeks. You can certainly tell just by looking that this is Lon Chaney Jr. Not too easy to mistake his unique and recognizable face.
