Once the bandages have set completely, carefully remove the front half of the jacket mold. Have the model work their face inside the alginate to help loosen it and carefully let it drop away from the face. Don't force the removal at this point. The alginate creates a bit of a vacuum and will eventually just release itself from the face. If you pull you may damage the alginate cast or the plaster jacket mold. Work the alginate away from the face with your fingers and hands or a soft nylon spatula of some sort.
