Trim the excess alginate so there is approximately 1" of overlap onto the first layer of plaster bandage. Begin covering the alginate with 12" plaster bandage strips and over the first layer of plaster bandage. This "locks in" the alginate to the front half of the plaster bandage jacket mold. Remeber KEEP THE NOSTRILS CLEAR.
