TO ALL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF SAPSEMA.... Last Christmas I sent wishes to all persons I had in my address book for this group and I got many of them back as undeliverable due to old addresses. I have NO NEW CURRENT E-MAIL for you. If you did not get an E-Mail from me during the holiday season and if you were a member of SAPSEMA, please send ME an E-Mail address to fxman@sapsema.org so I can have an updated address for you.. All memberships will likely be dropped since this membership thing has never produced many if any results. I did it in the beginning to gather a following and you all do that anyway. So the membership thing is kind of a moot point anymore. Often, I can't locate you via E-Mail to keep in touch. So to keep "membership" running is pointless. I just don't have the time to keep up with people who don't keep up with me or the site in general. I am finally getting around to looking at some things on the board and evaluate what to do that makes sense. And trying to update and change things takes time. Maintaining a "membership roll" is fruitless overall and since I can't keep up with those who don't keep up with me, makes that decision a bit easier to make. This is a start and I want to be sure that SAPSEMA members and friends are still there and still want to be a part of this, but to try to create a membership plan hasn't worked. ANY IDEAS??? I'll gladly hear them. If not, you need not respond. MANY of you already have E-Mailed me with continued support and I GREATLY appreciate you all and still consider you at least FRIENDS of the SAPSEMA site. A continued THANK YOU to you who have responded. ALTHOUGH I don't want to do TOO much to alter what people have been used to for more than 7 years now, I am going to make some changes to the site eventually. I have a lot of new links to add, some of which you may have already found as links from other pages. I have some new things to display and some cosmetic alterations to make but it's going to take me some time yet. A lot of these delays in updating have been my fault. But chalk it up to having to work for a living and not having the luxury of a lot of time to do that AND stay in touch as I did in the early stages of this site's life. As always, THANK YOU for your wonderful, continued support and friendship. I've made so many good friends I can't begin to thank you all enough for so many years of great fun and a lot of lessons learned.

I hope that those of you who visited the OLD board have now linked to this new board at a new location. This site will look the same as it did before until I can get some new things ready in the next few months. I am still here and will be from now on - as long as I can afford it and you support it with your visits, your input, your comments, suggestions and ideas and anything else you feel like contributing to the cause. I am going to be changing things around here so I urge you all to continue to watch for them. It may take some time to do that but I hope to have some time soon. Whatever happens there may very well be some changes, some delays in getting pages linked and working and general mayhem for a time till it's all checked and functioning. As always, I appreciate your patience and hope you all will stay connected. I have some new things I want to do, lots of new things to display and much, much more. So please stay with me and watch as new things happen. THANKS as always.

I know new people show up constantly and I continue to hear from a lot of you by E-Mail. I just have been very lax about responding - because I can't sit in front of a computer nightly as I did before. For the continued E-Mail I can only say thanks and hope you'll continue to at least update ME on things you're doing and are involved with. I might still not get a chance to respond before it becomes a long forgotten issue. I will strive, to answer questions as they come in, to give help where it's solicited and to eventually get back to you with E-Mails and eventually get this site updated again. But it will be a while still.

I know most of you have likely given up on the third installment in the series of articles on gelatine appliances and their uses by Special Makeup Effects Artist, Mitch Boudrot. I've heard from Mitch fairly recently and he has decided to get out of the business entirely as far as I know. I think he tried to make in-roads for years and finally just decided he had other things he wanted to pursue. So for now, a third installment doesn't exist and unless I can get to it, it won't. Sorry for that delay. I will try to put some things together for everyone and if and when I do I'll post that information here. I've found out some new things that I hope to share as soon as I can do some tests myself. I know that many of you may still be interested. You've been quite patient waiting for it. I am eventually going to do some gelatin testing - just need time to do it. As I've also said before, that if you need any immediate answers let me know and I will do what I can to provide you with any help as we await the last installment. THANKS!!

As I have always said, you all are and have been THE BEST SUPPORTERS ANY WEB SITE COULD HAVE!!! And NOTHING will ever change in this regard. A new HITS counter will be set up soon but the numbers indicate that nearly 100,000 visits have occurred since I started this in August of 1997 - 7 years ago. Hard to believe. I will always be SO VERY grateful for your incredible support. GOD BLESS YOU ALL for being such GREAT friends and followers of this site. I am DEEPLY indebted to those of you who have supported me so much and E-Mailed so often over these last many years. I NEVER expected that this site would have so many faithful colleagues and friends. I STILL GET (to this day) so much E-Mail of support and encouragement from you. AND THAT HUMBLES ME GREATLY. I am ALWAYS glad to hear from ALL of you at ANY TIME. I have made some of the best friends I've ever had as a result of having this site. I have LEARNED so much from all of you and for that education and those solid, long-lasting friendships, I thank you whole-heartedly. YOU PEOPLE ARE THE BEST!!!

On the main index page of the web site there will always be the entry with a link to the Special Effects Makeup Artist Guild. I continue to encourage you to join the Special Effects Makeup Artist Guild. Follow the links to the membership registration area and sign up. All you have to do is submit a photo of your work to him. This is a great group to be part of as well. The Guild's President and I have collaborated in the past, trying to set up something that will be highly beneficial to all members of both our organizations and I encourage you to be part of BOTH our groups.
